Why Use a Fly Trap?
Fly traps are an environmentally friendly and effective way to reduce the number of flies in the pasture. They help improve the well-being of the animals and prevent the spread of diseases. Unlike chemical insecticides, they pose no danger to the environment or the animals.
Fly Traps for the Pasture
CIT offers a range of fly traps specifically designed for use in pastures. The FLYCAGE6 is an extremely effective and large-scale solution for combating flies in pastures, gardens, campsites, and similar outdoor areas. Thanks to its special FlyCage bait mixture, the trap can catch up to 90% of the flies in the vicinity, making it one of the best options on the market. The trap is intended for outdoor use only and works best from April to October.
- Catch Capacity: With the original FlyCage bait, the trap remains effective for up to 3 months, providing a sustainable solution against fly infestations.
- Reusability: After initial use, the trap can be refilled, increasing its durability and cost-effectiveness.
- Capacity: The fly trap holds 6 liters of water and 750 grams of FlyCage bait.
- Contents: The package includes a bucket with lid, six grid inserts, and 750 grams of bait.
The Fly Trap including 240 g bait from Ecobusters is based on the same concept and is therefore also perfect for the pasture. The natural bait, made from fermented yeast and baking powder, effectively attracts flies while leaving bees and birds unaffected. Thanks to the trap’s one-way openings, once caught, flies cannot escape, creating an almost fly-free zone. The bait remains active for up to 60 days and is approved by the feed industry, making it a safe and sustainable solution.
The FlyCage3 is a slightly smaller version of the CIT fly trap, effective for 4-6 weeks and reusable after refilling.
It is suitable for an area of up to 100 m². The flies can then be easily disposed of in organic waste.
The FlyMaster Fly Arch is a highly effective solution for combating flies in stables. Each pack contains 6 arches, each measuring 595 × 300 mm. A single arch can catch up to 5,000 flies and covers an area of about 200 m².
Using the FlyMaster Fly Arch is very simple: the arch can be mounted whole or cut to size. After removing the protective film, the fly catcher is ready to use immediately. The fly arch uses the attraction of yellow paper to effectively lure and catch flies.
In the kavalio online shop, you will find many different fly sprays, Fly Rugs, Fly Masks, and much more alongside the fly traps.
