This is what our customers say

HKM Loose Ring Snaffle Apple Flavor 18 mm

The HKM Loose Ring Snaffle Apple Flavor is 18 mm thick and made of stainless steel with polyurethane.

Mouthpiece and Material

According to HKM, many horses accept it well. The mouthpiece is coated with polyurethane and tastes like apple. According to HKM, this promotes saliva production and chewing activity. The core is made of stainless steel. The Loose Ring Snaffle is the classic bit for training and everyday riding. Its rings are movable.

Sizes

Available sizes are 60/115 width, 70/125 width, 70/135 width, 70/145 width, and 70/155 width. The mouthpiece thickness is 18 mm. The size indicates the ring diameter and bit width in millimeters. Measure your horse's mouth width before buying. A properly fitting bit extends about 0.5 cm on each side. If it is too narrow, it pinches; if it is too wide, it slips.

Care and Instructions

Rinse the bit with clean water after every ride. Thoroughly remove any food residue. Check it regularly for wear and sharp edges. Store it in a dry place. If you have questions about choosing a bit, ask a specialist. This will keep it comfortable for your horse for a long time.
