Sprenger Chin Strap Pad – Leather

The Chin Strap Pad – Leather from Sprenger provides reliable protection for your horse’s sensitive lower jaw and adds an important detail to any curb bridle for increased comfort and care in the mouth area.

Effective Protection for the Lower Jaw

Your horse’s lower jaw is covered only by a thin layer of skin, making it especially sensitive to localized pressure. The Sprenger Chin Strap Pad is specially designed to relieve this delicate area. It acts as a soft cushion between the chin strap and your horse’s skin, preventing uncomfortable pressure or rubbing spots. Especially during intense rein handling or with sensitive horses, the pad can significantly contribute to relaxation. It supports acceptance of the curb bit and helps distribute pressure more evenly. This way, you help your horse respond to rein aids more calmly and relaxed.

Soft Leather with Thoughtful Closure

Made from high-quality leather, the chin strap pad offers comfortable cushioning with natural breathability. The Material adapts smoothly to the lower jaw and remains shape-stable even with extended use. Thanks to the practical Velcro closure, the pad can be quickly and easily attached to or removed from the chin strap. The secure fit ensures it stays firmly in place while riding. Its discreet design blends visually harmoniously with any curb bridle. The combination of functionality and aesthetics makes it an indispensable detail in advanced equestrian sports.

Suitable for All Curb Bridles

The Chin Strap Pad – Leather is universally compatible and fits all common curb bridle models with chin straps. It is especially recommended for sensitive horses that react to localized pressure in the chin area. Its use is also advisable in competitive sports to prevent pressure marks caused by tightly fastened chin straps. The easy handling allows for quick use in everyday training as well as at competitions. Its low-maintenance surface can be cleaned with a damp cloth and treated with Leather Care as needed. With this well-thought-out addition, you sensibly complete your curb bridle and do something good for your horse at the same time.
